Just call them the biggest winners.
Following a horrific accident that almost cost Sam Poueu his life, the Biggest Loser alum wed season-nine co-star Stephanie Anderson Saturday at St. Paul's Catholic Church in San Francisco, according to Us Weekly.
And it was anything but a small affair.
With 27 (!) people in the duo's wedding party, The NBC reality stars swapped vows in the same church that Anderson's parents married in 39 years ago.
The 32-year-old bride opted for a gown by White by Vera Wang for David's Bridal for her stroll down the aisle, while her 27-year-old groom wore a black tuxedo by the Vera Wang Collection at Men's Warehouse.
"I can't wait to see Sam's face when he sees me for the first time," Anderson gushed of the gown on their wedding website. "I hope I take his breath away."
Poueu and Anderson found love on the show back in 2010, and after losing a total of 241 pounds together, Poueu popped the question on The Biggest Loser: Where Are They Now special that same year.
"Baby, I love you," Poueu said. "Since that first day that I saw you, I knew that there wasn't a day in the rest of my life that I wanted to go without seeing your face. That was a year ago. Now, I want us forever. Will you be my wife?"
Although Poueu sustained several severe injuries when he fell four stories off a roof last September, he has since made a full recovery, telling the mag he still planned to dance at the wedding.
Congrats to the couple!
