With all their forthcoming feats of daring-do hitting the big screen soon, the Avengers are pretty busy superheroes these days.

And now Madame Tussauds in New York and Marvel Studios have joinced forces to immortalize them in wax form.

The famed museum debuted two new wax figures of Captain America and Thor today to go along with likenesses of the Hulk (whose wax figure stands at a whopping 15 feet!), Iron Man and Spider-Man

The comic book characters' visages are exact replicas of Mr. Red, White & Blue as portrayed by Chris Evans in the 2011 blockbuster film Captain America, and the hammer-wielding prince of Asgard as played by Chris Hemsworth in Thor.

Those attending the exhibit's unveiling of this waxy bunch were also treated to a preview screening of Marvel Super Heroes 4-D Experience, a never-before-seen short film with special effects that places visitors in the middle of a Stark Industries press conference.
