Boy, how the time flies.
Nearly a year after LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian made their way from secret couple to husband and wife, the doting duo celebrated their first anniversary with a romantic weekend in Calabasas, Calif., according to People.
And they're still in a state of wedded bliss...
"I think we are packed for our "stay cation" Good times ahead!," the country crooner tweeted Thursday. "Here's to a great weekend and an amazing one year anniversary."
Cibrian and Rimes, who wed on April 22 last year, reportedly kicked off their getaway with an intimate lunch at Italian restaurant Toscanova, where the couple noshed on beef carpaccio and chicken paillard, and kissed and held hands.
While Cibrian has stayed mum on what he surprised Rimes with to commemorate their anniversary, his Twitter-loving wife couldn't hold in the gift she got for her beau.
Before tweeting Friday that she was turning her phone off, Rimes wrote, "I gave Eddie his anniversary gift early. I can never wait! He was so cute, he loved it so much he wore it to bed. For you dirty minds, it was a watch.... :)- I just thought that was super cute. All boys, no matter what age love their toys a lot."
Saturday, LeAnn continued her sweet tweets about her hubby, writing, "Like a rose Our love is like a sweet rose," posting a photo of a rose in a small vase as well.
The couple, who will officially ring in one year of marriage Sunday, infamously fell for each other while shooting the Lifetime movie Northern Lights in early 2009 while they were both still married to other people.
