Dogg, whose real name is Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, faces two felony counts of making criminal threats, one felony count of stalking and one misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license from a previous DUI.
The 38-year-old rapper was collared June 23 after the California Highway Patrol fielded a 911 call from his spouse, identified only as Latoya C., claiming he was chasing after her on a Los Angeles freeway.
Hale also allegedly emailed her death threats.
He was released on $50,000 bond, which Compton Superior Court Commissioner Joel Wallenstein upped to $100,000 this morning. After doing so, the commissioner ordered the bailiff to temporarily place Dogg in a holding area until his camp paid the additional $50,000.
He was released a short while later and ordered not to have contact with or come within 100 yards of his missus.
The hip-hopster's next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 1, at which point a judge will decide whether or not there's enough evidence for the case to go to trial.
