But first, the Spy Kids beauty is giving us the scoop on her big upcoming White House birthday party with President Barack Obama!
"I'm going to be in [Washington] D.C. on my birthday," Alba, who turns 31 on April 28, told us while promoting Honest.com, her new eco-friendly website for green family and baby products.
"I'm going to go for the White House Correspondents dinner," she explained. "They don't know that they're throwing me a big dinner birthday party but they are, secretly."
Now, on to that tattoo. It turns out fans weren't the only ones who were fooled by Alba's recent fake arm ink for her role in the upcoming comedy A.C.O.D.
"My godmother saw it and she was like, 'Is that a new tattoo?'" Alba dished. "And I was like, ‘No, it's just for this movie.' And she was like, 'Oh, OK.'"
So did the role inspire Alba, who already has a few small tats, to get more massive body art?
"Right now, it's not for me, to get a sleeve or get a big tattoo on my arm," she said. "But if someone is into it, fine. I have zero judgments on it."
