Anderson Cooper has gotten another crack at a priceless on-air crack-up!

If you'll recall, the CNN host became a viral-video sensation last summer when he succumbed to an on-air giggling fit while attempting to deliver a report about Gérard Depardieu peeing on a plane. (Hey, we'd be in stitches, too!)

Well, turns out that was only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Cooper's full giggling prowess.

The host completely lost it again on his AC360 show last night, this time going so far as to get up and walk off camera in an attempt to stifle his maniacal laugh trip.

So what set him off?

On the "RidicuList "segment of his show, Cooper discussed an obscure Polish American holiday called Dyngus Day, which happens after Lent and involves "quirky little rituals" like boys sprinkling girls with water.

The report was apparently too much for Cooper's normally unflappable composure, because the star soon collapsed into a hysterical giggle fit that put his first one to shame.

This one lasted almost a minute and a half, and the newsman left his anchor's seat at one point, only to return and exclaim, "That's really so stupid! Stop! C'mon, this is torture!"

After a barrage of additional yuks, he added, "I just gotta let it out!" and wiped his eyes with a tissue.

It wasn't all yuks for Cooper, though: Concerned that his outburst might have offended Dyngus Day die-hards, he issued this statement afterward:

"I am concerned to hear that some people believe that I called Dyngus Day celebrations ‘stupid' or in any way criticized this holiday. I did not. While in the midst of a silly giggle fit I said ‘this is so stupid' in reference to my inability to stop laughing," Cooper explained.

"I was not saying Dyngus Day was ‘so stupid.' I apologize to anyone who got the impression that I was being critical of Dyngus Day. I am genuinely sorry if I offended anyone by the lighthearted tone of the ‘RidicuList.' "

See, he wasn't dinging dem Dyngus folks! Let's hope they know how to, ahem, laugh it off.
