Jennifer Love Hewitt may say she was kidding when she told Ellen DeGeneres she has a thing for Adam Levine, but was she?

Didn't exactly sound like it last night…

"Put it out there," Hewitt told me last night at The Client List launch party when I asked about her maybe crush on the Maroon 5 frontman and The Voice coach. "Why not? Let's see if he comes a-knockin'."

Or how about getting him a gig on the Client List? Based on her Lifetime movie of the same name, the series again stars Hewitt as a masseuse who provides happy endings. "Yeah, I should massage him," Hewitt said. "I mean, I really should."

Wonder if Levine has seen Hewitt's va-va-voom Client List ads. Hello, skimpy lingerie.

"I work out five days a week at least a couple of hours, no matter what," she said of her fantastic figure. "No carbs and no desserts—except one day a week."

And then she laughed, "I can't wait to have a real snack tonight. I'm picturing you as a chili dog—I'm not going to lie…[Or] if I could just suck on a piece of chicken right now, that would be great."
