What's a little feuding among friends?

On tonight's American Idol, Steven Tyler revealed that Aerosmith is hitting the road this summer for the aptly named Global Warming Tour—the band's first tour since they had to pull the plug midschedule in 2009 after Tyler broke his shoulder falling off the stage during a performance in South Dakota.

Animosity ensued, but we had a feeling the guys had kissed and made up when Joe Perry showed up last week to perform "Happy Birthday" for his longtime mate.

So, what does the sexagenarian rocker have planned?

"I'm thinking of dressing like a lion tamer and whipping the front row into submission on this tour," Tyler said. "We've been lighting a fire under the world's ass—can I say ass on TV?—for 40 years now, so we're going to do the same thing.

"We're calling the tour the Global Warming Tour," he continued, "because of the fire. Yo tengo el fuego."

So, no need to dream on—an Aerosmith tour is a reality. Tickets go on sale March 31, and the circus kicks off June 16 in Minneapolis. Cheap Trick will open, according to Rolling Stone.
