Jennifer Lawrence got a taste for bloodletting as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games, but can she survive the House at the End of the Street?

The trailer for the PG-13 horror flick is in the wild, courtesy of the folks at Relativity Media, who are clearly hoping to capitalize on the 21-year-old actress's newly minted stardom.

And by the looks of this teaser, the odds appear to be in their favor.

House tells the tale of Elissa (Lawrence), a young woman who moves with her mom next door to a house where a young girl murdered her parents and then vanished into the woods. When Elissa befriends the surviving son, she quickly learns the terror isn't over as evidenced by the trippy, mysterious happenings in this preview, where time also runs in reverse at points.

It's too early to know if the time tinkering is a gimmick, or if it really has something to do with the plot of this scarefest, which costars Elisabeth Shue and Max Tieriot.

But given Lawrence's A-list status after the stellar box-office success of The Hunger Games, House at the End of the Street is likely to be a big draw, particularly as it's her first stab at being a scream queen.

The movie hits theaters Sept. 21.
