Actually, it seems like Jamie-Lynn Sigler is done playing the field. All thanks to a certain infielder.
The 30-year-old erstwhile Sopranos star has reportedly been dating Washington Nationals player Cutter Dykstra—all of just 22 years old—for "a few months" now.
Well, one steals bases, the other steals hearts. Sounds like a match to us! So, how'd these two crazy kids meet?
According to Page Six, which was first to cotton on to the coupling, the Los Angeles-based actress met the East Coast player through mutual friends Nick Swisher, who plays for the New York Yankees, and his actress-wife, Joanna Garcia.
And already, the couple is wasting no time in making their budding relationship public. Well, sort of.
Earlier this month, the duo exchanged cooing tweets to each other, though for whatever reason, Sigler has since deleted hers (though it has been kept for posterity thanks to Dykstra's retweet of the online sweet nothing).
"Sad morning, had the best week in fla but now back to LA to start work on our pilot! Keep kicking ass @CutterDykstra miss u already :(" she wrote last week.
Dykstra's response was swift.
"@JamieLSigler had an amazing time with you, I miss you so much. The last week flew by. Have a safe flight and kick ass on the pilot, so happy for you," he wrote.
Sigler's pilot, incidentally, is the Jimmy Fallon-produced Guys With Kids. She was previously linked to her entourage costar Jerry Ferrara and (someone likes the athletic type) New York Jet Mark Sanchez. As for Dykstra, he's the son of former Mets star (incidentally, recently sentenced to three years in prison for grand theft auto) Lenny Dykstra.
