While they may be headed to London...
It would just be for fun.
"The girls and I have actually talked about possibly going to the Olympics this year," Cassie Scerbo told me while promoting the ABC Family series' third-season premiere (airs March 26). "Just in honor of being so committed to gymnastics and that whole Olympic world the past few years. We've really gotten into it so we were excited when we found out they were in London."
"We're figuring out everyone's schedules and where we can stay and see how many people are in," she dished. "My stunt double [Jen Hanson], she's actually training to be an Olympic competitor. So if she makes it to the Olympics then we're definitely going to go."
However, if they don't make it across the pond, Scerbo said, "We'll definitely be watching and hopefully rooting on Jen."
Meanwhile, Scerbo says her character, Lauren, is headed for some dark territory on the show.
"This season she winds up with a serious health condition," she said. "She's in and out of the hospital; it's life-threatening."
"She has a little bit of a change of heart," Scerbo said. "She realizes not to take things for granted anymore."
