Don't look for the singer at Yankee Stadium tonight to cheer on her pal Alex Rodriguez

Madonna is not going to play ball tonight.

A report in the New York Post claims Madge had been planning on hitting Yankee Stadium in a few hours to watch her pal Alex Rodriguez play in the All-Star Game.

But would even the spotlight-loving Madonna dare to upstage the 79th annual celebration of baseball's best players?

When asked if Madonna was going to be in the stadium, her rep Liz Rosenberg simply said, "No."

The closest Madonna got to the game recently was when she brought her kids, Lourdes, Rocco and David, to see the Yankees on June 22. (And on Friday, she was sorta at the Bronx Bombers away game against the Toronto Blue Jays when fans of the Canadian team taunted A-Rod by holding up photos of Madonna.)

And reports that Madonna was supposedly going to be at Rodriguez's pregame party in New York City last night at Jay-Z's 40/40 club were also bogus. She was a no-show—instead, her best buddy Ingrid Casares was there, along with Madonna's and Rodriguez's manager, Guy Oseary.
