Gallagher Hospitalized After Suffering a Heart Attack

Comic had complained of chest pains just prior to taking the stage at a club in Texas

This is certainly no laughing matter.

Watermelon-smashing comedian Gallagher was rushed to a Texas hospital on Wednesday night after suffering a heart attack, his manager confirms to E! News.

The 65-year-old funnyman, whose full name is Leo Anthony Gallagher, complained of chest pains just prior to performing at a club in Lewisville.

Gallagher will remain hospitalized for an extended period.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time the comic has had such a problem. Last year, doctors concluded that it was a heart attack that caused Gallagher to actually collapse during a show at the Whiskey Bone Roadhouse in Minnesota.
