PacificCoastNews.com We'll admit, we were a bit skeptical of the romance between Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes.
Sure, the two are super hot together, but the Disneyland outings and cemetery strolls smelled a bit too paparazzi-friendly and much more like a casual fling than a serious relaysh.
So, what's the latest on the couple and why have we suddenly changed our 'tude?
We've hardly seen them together.
In fact, rumors were swirling the twosome had called it quits, until a lucky fan snapped a photo of the couple at WTF Bar in Bangkok, confirming their relaysh and shooting down rumors Ry was away with a mystery woman.
And while some of you may see this as a sign of trouble—after all, we sorta got used to (and loved) seeing the hotties out and about—we think it’s actually a sign this ab-tastic couple is getting très serious.
Why? For starters, Eva and Ryan have both maintained private personas in their past relationships. Prior to Gos, Eva dated filmmaker George Augusto for nearly 10 years and never chatted with the tabloids about her beau. And with the exception of those notorious (and adorable) candid shots of Ryan and his last longtime GF, Rachel McAdams, we rarely saw the couple put on a public display.
Which is why we say this lack of PDA means the couple's stronger than ever before—spending time away from the prying paps instead of parading around like a fun-for-a-sec fling.
And heck, a little privacy never hurts any Hollywood couple (Robsten anyone?), so we're thinkin' this secret MO makes sense for the twosome.
But while we're loving this couple more by the minute, we're seriously jealous Eva has those abs all to herself.
So until this couple steps back out, we'll just watch Crazy, Stupid, Love to satisfy our Gosling appetite.
