Afternoon Mail! Did A Twilight Vice End a Marriage?

    Dear Ted:
I just read an article that said Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth are getting divorced...is this true and could it be because Peter has a Vice?
    —Evie

    Dear Papa Don't Preach:
Sadly, Ev, it's true. The duo announced that after 11 years (and three kiddos) they are indeed getting a divorce. But don't be so quick to blame it on a Vice—sure, the Twilight gang is chock full of Superstars, but Pete isn't one of ‘em. There have been rumors for a while that the couple was having troubles, but they tried to make it work. Ultimately it didn't, but you have to give them props for that.

    Dear Ted:
Poor Eva Longoria! Another breakup to add to the list. I know Eva is a Blind Vice Superstar so I was curious if her Vice is why she can't maintain a relationship?

    Dear Hmmm:
No. It certainly makes marriage tougher, but it isn't a deal breaker by any means.

    Dear Ted:
What does Olivia Wilde's B.V. have to do with? Money, drugs, men (or women)? And how is she with fans, because I heard she is not very nice when they ask for a picture or an autograph.
    —JI

    Dear Wilde-ing Out:
Men, mostly—well, a man to be exact. As for your second Q, her moniker isn't masking a diva 'tude, per se. She's a gal that cherishes her privacy, though, which might explain why she allegedly isn't always a sweetheart on the streets.

    Dear Ted:
What's going on with Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes? There are back-and-forth reports on whether they have split. Are they just tired of playing the publicity game?
    —MooKinda

    Dear What Happens in Thailand:
The twosome isn't over yet. And I don't expect them to simply fizzle out anytime soon. That said, Ry and Eva definitely seem to be flaunting their PDA for the paparazzi less (e.g., no more making out at stoplights or hitting Parisian cemeteries together), which, in my opinion, is a good sign.

    Dear Ted:
I'm wondering if Demi Lovato took at your Blind Vices on her Twitter last week? Saying they were lies and that's why you can't use names. Do you know the tweet I'm talking about?
    —MissMelissa

    Dear Little Miss Vice Star:
I don't suspect it was my moniker for her that got Dem fuming—she hasn't appeared in the Blind column too recently, but I will say this: Methinks she doth protest too much (and I also think reading internet gossip is probably not the best thing for her right now). That said, names aren't used for many reasons. But it's not because the Vice isn't true.

    Dear Ted:
Someone asked a week or two ago if Justin Timberlake was gay and you said no. But is Jessica Biel a lesbian? There have been rumors about one of them bearding for the other. And does Jess have a moniker because of who she is associated with or because of her own Vices? Please answer; I know you get a lot of emails.
    —nicole

    Dear Seeing Straight:
No. As for her moniker, it started as the former and turned into the latter. Comprende?
