In Thursday's episode, "Lucky," Dawn and John Blackwell (Joe Lando), Cassie's (Britt Robertson) father, meet up in the high school hallway and it's safe to say there's definitely some sexual tension joining them in their conversation.
So what do they both want? And why isn't Dawn surprised to see John alive? We got our hands on an exclusive clip that'll answer all those questions...
Sexual tension alert!
After pinning her against a locker and telling her he's not here for her, Dawn says to John, "You might be more convincing if you didn't have me pinned up against this locker." Word, Dawn!
When John points out that Dawn doesn't seem shocked to see him alive, she says she isn't. "I never believed it. Your funeral was lovely, though. I wore red." Yes, Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) is definitely her daughter.
By now we all know Dawn is focused on one thing, getting her powers back, and she asks John to help her do so. "I know you remember what a powerful team we made," she says before being brutally rebuffed by the supposedly reformed John, who tells her, "I've changed."
Still, trading words with Dawn isn't what John came to town for, and he scares her a little when he tells her he's looking for Ethan (Adam Harrington)! Ruh-roh, what is John planning on doing to Adam's (Thomas Dekker) dad?
