Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz: It's Over

Duo never confirmed their relationship but apparently have decided to stay friends

So does this mean those gorgeous Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz PDA pics are no more?!

Unfortunately, it sounds like it.

According to both Us Weekly and People, the duo that tried to come off as "just friends" have called it quits after a year of dating—yes, dating.

Longoria and Penélope Cruz's little brother were introduced February of last year on a yacht in Florida, which seemed to be perfect timing for the Desperate Housewives star who was dealing with divorce drama from her ex-hubby Tony Parker.

Rebound romance friendship to the rescue!

Although neither camp would confirm their relationship status as anything more than platonic, engagement rumors started swirling in September after reports claimed Eduardo popped the question in July while yachting around the Mediterranean. Yachts seem to be their thing.

Longoria's rep tells E! News, "We have no comment, as we do not comment on the personal lives of our clients".

But a source told Us that the split was,"a mutual decision. They are staying friends."

There's that word again.
