Davy Jones Funeral: Service Will Take Place in Florida, Public Memorials to Be Held in New York and England

Singer will be laid to rest in the state he was residing in at the time of his death

Davy Jones will soon be laid to rest.

Two days after his passing, reps for the singer have confirmed to E! News that there will be a private family service held shortly in Florida, where Jones was residing at the time of his death.

Public services will also be scheduled in both New York and the U.K., but no dates have been announced yet.

It was revealed on Thursday that preliminary results of an autopsy performed on Jones determined that the cause of death was a severe heart attack.

He was only 66.
