It seems that we'll have to wait a little longer to see Lamar Odom do his thing on the basketball court again.

A Dallas Mavericks rep confirms to E! News that Khloé Kardashian Odom's hubby will continue with his time off for family issues, and not join the team for their away game tomorrow against the New Orleans Hornets.

But, we might see Odom back on the hardwood soon...

Odom and his agent Jeff Schwartz met with Dallas Mavs owner Mark Cuban yesterday to try and figure out a timetable that would ease Lamar back into the swing of things after being gone for a week.

What did they come up with?

Lamar is reportedly going to play at least one game with the Mavericks' D-League affiliate to "get his legs back under him." It is also said that the basketball star will practice with the Texas Legends while his team is in The Big Easy tomorrow, and possibly play with the Legends in their home game against the Austin Toros.

The Mavs plan to announce an update on Lamar's status before Saturday's game against the Utah Jazz.
