Lamar Odom's priorities are in order.

Khloé Kardashian Odom's hubby was noticeably absent from last night's anticipated Dallas Mavericks game against his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers. The reason for his MIA status was briefly noted just a half-hour before tipoff, with his coach saying Odom was taking a break from basketball to tend to a "family matter."

"He has been excused to tend to a family matter," coach Rick Carlisle told the media before the match-up. "He will rejoin us after the [All-Star] break."

That break takes place this weekend, so the forward, at least for now, is expected to hit the court again sometime next week.

No further information was provided.

Not even from Khloé, who yesterday tweeted out, "Weird day...

"Well if its not one thing, it's another...I guess I can say life is never boring."

Whether she was directly referring to the Khloé & Lamar star's sporting absence or not is unclear, but regardless the statement holds true: in addition to Odom's game-skipping, yesterday was the day her sister Kourtney announced she was expecting a girl, as well as the birthday of her late father, Robert Kardashian.

Can't wait to see you back on the court, Lamar!
