The British are coming...and they're bring the drama!
America's Next Top Model: British Invasion premieres next week on the CW, and it's safe to say the new cycle is starting things off with a bang...a possibly controversial bang, as one of the new models must portray the late Amy Winehouse in the season premiere's big photo shoot.
Want to see who else the girls will be portraying? Lucky for you, we've got our hands on three exclusive photos from the first photo shoot of cycle 18!
In the premiere episode, the new batch of aspiring models must portray famous British and American figures. You know, because it's British Invasion?
The British models will take on, you guessed it, the famous British figures, while the American girls take on the famous figures of the good ole U.S.A. Catherine portrays Queen Elizabeth I, Jasmia dresses as John Lennon and Louise takes on the most controversial figure, Amy Winehouse. AzMarie portrays George Washington, Kyle takes on Andy Warhol and Mariah portrays Pocahontas.
The judging panel for cycle 18 includes Tyra Banks, fashion public relations guru Kelly Cutrone (of The City and Kell on Earth fame) and photographer Nigel Barker. Jay Manuel and J. Alexander return as the girls' creative director and runway coach.
America's Next Top Model: British Invasion premieres Wednesday, Feb. 29, at 9 p.m. on the CW.
