Gisele Bündchen may not have been happy with hubby Tom Brady's defenders, but she should be more than pleased with her own.

Who knew the Victoria's Secret models could be better in a clutch than the New England Patriots?

In any case, the fallout surrounding the supermodel's already infamous post-game outburst, in which she threw her hubby's Super Bowl-losing teammates under the bus, continues apace, though in the wake of a New York Giants pile-on earlier this week, the catwalker has found some herself some slightly less rough and tumble backers.

Though clearly no friend of her hubby's NFL brotherhood, Bündchen ought to have good feelings about her Victoria Secret sisterhood, as the angels today stood up for their own.

"I think that everybody was getting so into the game, and I think that it's her husband and she just really cared about it," fellow winged model Lindsay Ellingson told MTV News. "I don't think she meant anything bad by what she said and she was just so passionate, I don't blame her. [She was] standing up for her man."

Fellow V.S. stunner Doutzen Kroes also didn't see what all the fuss was about.

"I don't know the whole deal about it," she said. "I think you always have to stand up for your husband, you're a team. And you know if she did that, I would've done the same."

The bluntest of all was Gisele's fellow Brazilian babe and something of a Super Bowl vet herself having appeared in two commercials during the game: Adriana Lima.

"Leave her alone!"

Meanwhile, Gisele also found an unlikely defender (or not, given his predilection for the fairer sex) in Donald Trump, who told Access Hollywood this week that what the model said was not only justified but rather accurate.

"She's standing up for her man, and Gisele didn't do anything wrong," he said. "She's standing up for her man and she happened to be right. They were dropping balls all over the place."

So there.
