Tracy Morgan tweets! And from the sound of it, the 30 Rock star is back in good spirits following Sunday's Sundance scare and trip to the hospital.
"Superman ran into a little kryptonite," the 43-year-old funnyman tweeted Monday. "The high altitude in Utah shook up this kid from Brooklyn."
The Saturday Night Live alum was being honored at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards when, after giving a speech, he was escorted outside and then collapsed.
So what happened?
An ambulance was sent to the scene and the actor was brought to Park City Medical Center. His publicist tells E! News he sought medical attention "from a combination of exhaustion and altitude."
Ron Nyswaner, codirector of Morgan's new film, Predisposed, said that the actor's diabetes contributed to his collapse, along with the altitude. Morgan "hadn't eaten" and "he hadn't had enough water," Nyswaner added.
As for reports suggesting that Morgan was consuming alcohol prior to the scare? His publicist tells E! News they're "100 percent false."
Fortunately, Morgan's scare isn't going to keep him down for long. "Back at work 2morrow shooting 30 Rock," he tweeted Monday. "Holla at me!"
The actor, who is a diabetic and received a kidney transplant two years ago, also wrote "Thank U 2 the hospital staff."
Glad he's already on the mend!
