Cougar Town (Finally) Gets a Premiere Date!

ABC officially puts the long-delayed sitcom on their schedule

Finally, finally, finally!

Raise those goblets of wine, Cougar Town fans, because ABC has officially put the much-too-long delayed sitcom on their schedule for the 2012 Spring season. When will the new season premiere? We thought you'd never ask…

Single? Taken? Doesn't matter because we know what you're doing this Valentine's Day at 8:30 p.m. You'll be watching the season three premiere of Cougar Town, obviously. We repeat, Feb. 14 is the date you want marked down on your calendar. Break out those red sharpies (how very Revenge of you), and circle that date!

Creator Bill Lawrence jumped in on the celebration by tweeting: "Cougar Town is back. Valentine's day. Big show changing episode. Stay in, watch, and I'll send you a bottle of wine."

We've been lucky enough to preview episodes from season three, and believe us when we tell you that the cul-de-sac crew is definitely back better than ever.

Fans were hoping for a concrete return date for Cougar Town since ABC announced that they were pulling the very-poorly received Work It off the schedule, and today proves that dreams really do come true. Now all we need is NBC to give us a return date for Community, and we'd be set!
