Fans of the Bourne franchise, take a peek at what's to come.

While it's still unclear what The Bourne Legacy will have in store for us when it hits theaters this fall, a photo of the film's new lead, Jeremy Renner as Aaron Cross, has hit the Web, via USA Today

And if you recall, the Bourne franchise's main man Matt Damon will not be in the fourth installment.

Renner's character won't be a replacement for Bourne, however.

"This is not a reboot or a recast or a prequel," director Tony Gilroy explained to Hollywood Elsewhere back in 2010. "No one's replacing Matt Damon. There will be a whole new hero, a whole new chapter…this is a stand-alone project.

"The easiest way to think of it is an expansion or a reveal," Gilroy went on. "Jason Bourne will not be in this film, but he's very much alive."

The Bourne Legacy is set to be released Aug. 3.
