Adele doesn't have to sing to stun!
The British songbird, who underwent throat surgery early last month, tweeted a photo today of herself all dolled up and sitting in the backseat of a car in London—where she was apparently en route to a business-related appointment.
"Back on the grind. Hair and make up did. Merry Christmas! Axx," she wrote, decked out in a black dress and sporting her signature beehive—which topped a face that isn't as full as it was pre-operation.
The "Someone Like You" singer underwent a microsurgery procedure in November to put an end to recurring hemorrhages in her throat being caused by a benign polyp.
Meanwhile, the grind presumably now includes preparing for an appearance at the Grammy Awards in February, whether the six-time nominee performs or not.
"Just home from New York, that's my main excuse for not posting a message sooner, but I'm also completely and utterly lost for words," Adele wrote on her blog on Dec. 3. "A couple days after finally being able to talk again I'm pretty speechless...This has been the best year as it is but to end 2011 with this incredible achievement and honour is beyond anything I can express."
