Meet Erica Dasher.
As the star of ABC Family's new show Jane By Design, she's is a fashionista to watch. The Devil Wears Prada-esque series follows Dasher's character Jane, a high school outsider who lives a double life by working for the head of a major fashion house (Andie MacDowell).
Aside from getting to wear out-of-this-world designer duds, Dasher tells us they've already got some of the fashion industry's biggest names to stop by the set...
"We've had Betsey Johnson and Nanette Lepore," Dasher told us while promoting the show's Jan. 3 premiere. "And then Patricia Field, who you know did all the clothes for Devil Wears Prada and Sex and the City; she did a cameo on the show and designed a little namesake ring for me that I wear every episode."
"I would love to have Stella McCartney or Alexander Wang or Sarah Burton from Alexander McQueen who's like my favorite designer," Dasher gushed about future fashionable guest stars. "Those would be cool people. Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs..."
But Dasher doesn't just get to meet the designers. She gets to wear their clothes as well.
"Our costume designer, Olivia Miles, is really a genius," she said. "They give her so much work. I'll have like 16 costume changes an episode!"
