Who dare try and sneak their undeserving selves into Lady Gaga's Twitter so that they can send a tweet to 17 million followers at once?

A virus, that's who, er, what.

"Gaga" sent out a tweet earlier today that didn't seem like her, and that's because it wasn't. Here's what it said...

"FREE iPad2′s to each one of you in the spirit of the holidays."

We're not saying that the singer doesn't appreciate her monsters enough to send everyone an iPad2, but c'mon, let's be realistic here. Plus, there was a huge red flag—a link. We should all know by now that those links are no good!

The faulty tweet has since been removed, and Mother Monster posted, "Phew. The hacking is over! And just in time, I'm on my way to Japan! So excited to spend Xmastime with my TokyoMonsters!"
