Want double servings of Russell Brand on your television? Then come 2012, you're in luck.

Fox and its sister network FX have both ordered projects from Katy Perry's funny hubby, but the series are as different as late-night and animation…

Brand's deal with FX is a six-episode order of an unscripted half-hour late-night show, starring himself, of course. According to the network, the show will feature his "unvarnished, unfiltered take on current events, politics and pop culture."

Brand says in a statement: "I am so excited I'm on the point of climax, in fact I will put the "O" into FX, which spells Fox, which is actually the channel's real name. That's the only thing that worries me about all this to be honest. At least I'll be able to have a Christmas drink with Bill O'Reilly."

The FX series is set to launch in the spring of 2012.

And if that wasn't enough for one day for Brand, Deadline.com is reporting that Fox has picked up an animated comedy that the actor helped co-create. Though details on the show's premise haven't been confirmed, it's rumored that it will revolve around Brand's life in his 20s.

Are you a Russell Brand fan? Or are you dreading seeing him all over your TV next year?
