They like them! They really like them! At least enough to nominate them.

The Producers Guild of America this morning unveiled the TV series nominees for the 23rd annual PGA Awards, which will be announced Jan 3 and handed out Jan. 21 at a ceremony that will also dole out special honors to producers extraordinaire Steven Spielberg, Leslie Moonves and Stan Lee, among others.

So, which prime-time favorites made the cut?

30 Rock, The Big Bang Theory, Glee, Modern Family and Parks and Recreation are among the comedies who got the last laugh in their category, while Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, Game of Thrones, The Good Wife and Mad Men will vie against each other in the dramatic division.

Meanwhile, Simon Cowell might be smarting this morning, as his X Factor failed to make the cut for competition series, though American Idol did. It's joined by awards-show magnet The Amazing Race, Dancing With the Stars, Project Runway and Top Chef.

Other notable nominees include The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Saturday Night Live, The Colbert Report (though not, surprisingly, The Daily Show With Jon Stewart) and Deadliest Catch.
