"[Paul and I are] going back into the studio next week to record this really funny rap song that we have together," she told us at the Breaking Dawn: Part 1 premiere in L.A.
But don't worry. It's not like Reed thinks of herself as the next Jay-Z. It's mostly for fun.
"I do harmony, rap harmony," she explained. "We're discovering it as we speak. I'm not the lead rapper. I layer the rapping."
She continued, "I want to make the music video of that rap song. We want to put it somewhere like FunnyorDie or something."
Reed and McDonald's rap video venture may even help her hubby get his foot in the acting door.
"He keeps asking me if he can play that dead guy in CSI," she said. "So we'll see. Maybe that'll happen."
