Not surprisingly, Justin Timberlake wasn't the only one who had a night to remember.

Hours after sticking to his word and attending the Basic School Instructor Battalion 236th Marine Corps Birthday Ball on Saturday, the singer blogged about the event, calling it "one of the most moving evenings I've ever had."

Now, Cpl. Kelsey De Santis is sharing her thoughts about the "epic ball" and, of course, her date.

"It was wonderful. It was a really good experience," De Santis told Ann Curry this morning while appearing on Today, adding that when she first saw Timberlake arrive in a tuxedo "he had a big smile on his face and so did I."

While fondly recalling the evening, De Santis said she couldn't help but notice how her famous date was really moved by the event.

"The sweetest moment was definitely right after the ceremony ended and being able to see his face," she said. "You could see he genuinely cared about what he saw."

What's more, De Santis pointed out that J.T. wasn't at all shy about "bringing sexy back."

"We were on the dance floor, having a good time at the table, joking and laughing," she said with a smile. "So, it was, altogether, really great."
