They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

The Two and a Half Men star got a Twitter beatdown last night after tweeting, "How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass as a hawkeye fan I find it in poor taste," in reference to Penn State firing longtime football coach Joe Paterno.

After realizing he didn't have the full story and announcing that he will now have his tweets monitored, Ashton Kutcher tried to put the mess to bed (again) by posting a pic on Chime.In. (He Chimed in on himself, basically.)

Kutcher wrote, "What's a picture worth?" along with a link to the photo you see above with the "I'm with stupid," sign pointing to his face.

Aw, someone feels bad.

Luckily for the actor, a good number of his 8 million followers seemed to be forgiving in the comments, saying things like, "You're still human, you corrected it. That's commendable. Stay strong =)," or "You made a mistake, and then you did the right thing by apologizing for it. Good for you."

Do you forgive Kutcher or is this one error too big to overlook? Sound off in the comments!
