Teen bride Courtney Stodden appeared to be proving that old adage when the 17-year-old stepped out to make a Starbucks coffee run in L.A. on Wednesday wearing next to nothing.
No, we're not referring to the fact that 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison's better seemingly older other half strutted her stuff in skimpy short-shorts and a tiny top.

Rather, it was the lack of clown makeup that normally adorns her mug.
As a result, Court came across looking way more like the fresh-faced girl we were introduced to last week.
