For Lindsay Lohan, it was jet setting fashion fun (and some spit swapped with her mama) before she returned to court, where she was booked and added another mug shot to her collection. For her similarly troubled papa, it was a shopping spree.
So what'd Michael Lohan and his domestic-abuse-claiming GF buy?
Clothes. And lots of ‘em.
Yep, before father Lohan was accused of roughing up his long-time girlfriend (for the second time) and took to leaping off balconies, he and Kate Major seemed to be having a blast spending Michael's money.
Last week, between Kate and Michael's assorted restraining orders—before all the chaos went down, yet again—Michael and Kate hit up the Marshall's discount department store in Tampa. And they weren't alone: the battling beaus were accompanied by a bodyguard.
Kind of ironic looking back on it, no?
"People were surprised to see him shopping there," a source also in the store spills. "They spent $800 on clothes.
Sadly, looks like the couple that discount hunts together doesn't always stay together.
But it seemed like Michael (at the time) was behaving in truly Lohan fashion. Ya know, totally feeding the press firestorm.
"He was giving a local interview and said he wouldn't answer any more questions," our spy spills. "But then told the media exactly where he was staying."
Sounds to us like someone who definitely doesn't want his privacy invaded (and we're sure you're picking up on the sarcasm here).
Oh well, at least Dina will have more fodder for her tell-all, right?
