Dave and Odette Annable have been married for a year and really want to have kids.
"I can't even be around children," Odette tells me after a day shooting House (she joined the hit Fox series this season). "It's a problem. My ovaries start screaming."
"I'm not ready for them quite yet, but Dave is," Odette, 26, says. "Oh, my God—he was born to be a dad. You should see him with children."
Or with Richard Gere.
Dave, 32, visited Odette while she was filming her new spy thriller The Double (out now). She plays the wife of a young FBI agent (Topher Grace) who has teamed up with a retired CIA operative (Gere) to hunt down a notorious Soviet killer.
"Dave flew out to Detroit to watch me work and he had a little mini freakout when he met [Gere]," Odette remembered. "He was like, 'Wow he's so handsome.' Total man crush!"
Odette was crushing, too. "Richard Gere's got this very old-school Hollywood charm," she gushed. "He has a presence that when he's in a room you just feel him. I mean, I'm married, but he's sexy!"
As for her work on the flick, Odette laughed, "It's a new character for me. I've never played a wife—let alone someone that has two kids. That was a little scary."
