Viola Davis had plenty of help celebrating the recent adoption of her 14-month-old daughter, Genesis.

The 46-year-old first-time mother had her costars from The Help on hand over the weekend for a very special star-studded baby shower...

"[She's the] most adorable little girl," Allison Janney told us last night at the 15th Annual Hollywood Film Awards presented by Starz at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. "She didn't cry once the whole baby shower. She was so happy."

Emma Stone was also at the baby bash and revealed to E! News she got to dance with Davis' little one during the party, saying, "That is my kind of kid!"

The shower was thrown by Stacey Snider, DreamWorks Studios' cochairman and CEO.

"It was wonderful," said Octavia Spencer. "We all enjoy being around each other."

As for gifts, Janney says she gave Davis "six or seven different" presents, including baby booties.

"And I got a card for Julius [Tennon], Viola's husband, that says, 'I recommend vodka' on the card," she added. "That man has been a father before and has grown kids, so now he's starting over. He's the sweetest man on the planet and they're the nicest couple."

Spencer revealed she gifted the happy couple a Barcalounger rocking chair to match the baby's room.

"Viola Davis deserves all of the happiness that the Good Lord could bestow on her," Spencer gushed. "She and Julius are two of the best people I know, so to know that this is something that she's always wanted and she has it now, it makes me thrilled for her."
