It looks like somebody made sure to set her alarm clock before going to bed last night.

After showing up late—and being turned away—yesterday, Lindsay Lohan actually arrived early this morning to begin chipping away at her community service hours at the L.A. County Morgue.

"She was supposed to be here at 7 a.m. and she got in sometime between 6 and 6:30 a.m.," L.A. County Assistant Coroner Ed Winter told E! News.

Lohan's rep, though, points out that his client got there even earlier than that.

"Lindsay arrived at the L.A. County Morgue at 5:35 a.m. this morning," Steve Honig informed E! News. "She [was] sitting in her car waiting for them to open."

So what exactly is in store for the troubled actress during her eight-hour shift today?

"She'll be doing general janitorial work, mopping the floors, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms," explained Winter. "What any other person would do here for community service."
