Another day, another round of Lindsay Lohan drama.
It all continued began this morning when the troubled starlet failed to arrive, as promised, to the L.A. County Morgue at 8:00 a.m. for her community service.
Soon after, Ed Winter, the L.A. County Assistant Coroner told E! News: "She is not here. She is not working. We had a phone call before 8 saying she was 10 minutes away. By 8:20, she was considered a no-show."
A short time later, however, Lohan did show up. In her brand new $80,000 black Porsche, no less! But did they let her in? Find out what happened and what she exclusively told E! News...
So did she get in? Well, not exactly.
"Lindsay arrived at the morgue approximately 20 minutes late and will be returning for orientation tomorrow," her rep, Steve Honig, told E! News. "Her lateness was due to a combination of not knowing what entrance to go through and confusion caused by the media waiting for her arrival. Lindsay spoke with the supervisors at the morgue, they showed her how to get in and everything is all cleared up."
The L.A. County Coroners Office, however, told E! News that it was actually more like 40 minutes; despite all that, they "would be happy to host her in the program."
Lohan herself informed E! News exclusively that she is planning on returning again tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
Mind you, at Lohan's progress hearing yesterday, Judge Stephanie Sautner did only require Lohan to put in 16 hours at the morgue between now and her next court appearance on Nov. 2, but we still can't imagine Sautner being too happy over what went down today.
Not surprisingly, Lohan later tweeted about it all.
"With all of the stress and pressure from yesterday and today, I've never been so happy to go therapy!!!!" she wrote. "Also, I'm sorry for the confusion that I may of caused to those at the Coroner's office. Won't happen again, now I know where to go! Thank you for your help."
