Just when you think Lindsay Lohan's day couldn't get any more terrible with today's humiliating court appearance—the dressing down by the judge, those puffy cheeks, the handcuffs, the morgue duty—comes this.

E! News has learned the ever-troubled starlet was hit with a civil suit filed by an ex-employee of the Betty Ford Clinic who claimed she was assaulted by Lohan during her rehab stint last year.

The bad news came as LiLo arrived for a court session that ultimately ended with her probation revoked and a possible jail trip ahead.

According to the suit filed in July but not delivered to Lohan until now, plaintiff Dawn Bradley (née Holland) accused the 25-year-old actress of roughing her up after she confronted Lohan about violating the rehab center's no drinking policy.

Bradley, a chemical dependency technician, alleges in court papers that the thesp yanked her right wrist, "twisting and pulling it" hard and causing "great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering."

The staffer initially filed a report with Palm Desert police over the Dec. 12, 2010, incident, but no charges were ever brought against Lohan.

Bradley, who was subsequently fired from her job for violating the clinic's confidentiality rules, is seeking more than $1 million in damages.

Lohan's publicist declined to comment on the lawsuit.

But Linds received a little consolation in the form of a tweet from good buddy Snoop Dogg.

"Keep ya headup lindsay lohan! Wow! Revoked probation on both cases!" he wrote.

Lohan has since been released after posting $100,000 bail and ordered to return to court on Nov. 2, when she'll learn whether she has to go back to jail.
