    Rick Ross Suffers Scary Seizure on Plane, Said to Be "100 Percent OK"

    Rick Ross is said to be "OK" after suffering a seizure on an airplane that left him unconscious.

    The rapper had the episode on a flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Memphis A Delta Airlines rep tells E! News the plane departed Ft. Lauderdale at 12:27 p.m., but returned at 1:05 p.m. due to the medical emergency.

    Broward County medical workers met the plane as it landed, and their quick response may have saved Ross's life.

    The rapper removed on gurney at the airport, while his entourage standing nearby and acting extremely emotional. While TMZ reported that EMT workers performed CPR on Ross to resuscitate him, the official word is that he was conscious and breathing at the airport.

    "Fire rescue treated the adult male on the scene and transported him by ground to Broward General Medical Center," a spokesman for the Broward County sheriff told E! News. "Due to HIPPA rules, the patient's identity and medical condition are confidential."

    Friend and fellow rapper Wale says he spoke to Ross following the seizure, tweeting that he was better and that he even laughed on the phone.

    "I just talked to Ross...he's 100 pct ok...@tmz #dontpanic #dontpanic #mmg!!!!#gfid dec 13th!" he wrote.

    Ross had been flying to one of his Wingstop restaurants when he lost consciousness and the crew was reportedly very shaken.

    In August he had inked a deal with the Texas-based chain restaurant to launch a series of them, the first to open in Memphis, per MTV.com.

    Much love and get wells are coming from fellow musicians to Ross. Toni Braxton tweeted "Speedy recovery to Rick Ross."

    Rapper Nicki Minaj also took to Twitter, asking fans to "please pray for Rick Ross."
