Snow White and the Huntsman, Charlize Theron

Rankin/Universal Studios

Charlize Theron is so good at being bad.

Like really good.

Not only does she star as an alcoholic in her next movie, Young Adult, but as Kristen Stewart fans know, she's also playing the Evil Queen in Snow White and the Huntsman.

We caught up with Ms. Theron just last night, and here's what she had to say about the fairy-tale adventure and getting her drink on...

"She's been delicious," she told me about the Evil Queen last night at her Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project benefit. "I've been having a lot of fun."

Just how mean does she get? "I've decided to just go really sweet with her," Theron said. "I don't understand why they call her the Evil Queen."

But then she laughed, "No, she's a total bitch!"

In Young Adult, she plays Mavis Gary, a young adult novelist with a drinking problem who returns to her hometown hoping to rekindle things with her high school sweetheart (Patrick Wilson).

The dark comedy, directed by Jason Reitman, is her first film since 2009's The Road. " Oh, Mavis," said Theron, who was looking crazy hot in a Christian Dior mini-dress. "She's like a gorgeous car crash that you just cannot drive away from."

Last night's event at the Annenberg Space for Photography included an exhibit of celebrity portraits by photographer Randall Slavin.

The Oscar winner's Africa Outreach Project helps to fight HIV/AIDS in her native South Africa.

Theron said, "It blows my mind when so many people are dying unnecessarily or getting infected unnecessarily when all we have to do is give them information and have them get empowered by that."

Keep up the good work, Charlize!
