Dancing With the Stars Shocker: Did Nancy Grace's Nip Slip Prove Her Undoing?

Which way did viewers vote after the HLN host showed off more than her quickstep skills last night?

Whoopsy daisy!

That's all Nancy Grace could really do last night (aside from tossing her hands in the air, but that might risk another wardrobe malfunction) after her breast-petal-covered right nipple played peekaboo at the end of her energetic quickstep.

So, did the slip work in her favor, i.e. via sympathy votes? Did the eyeful result in fewer people picking up the phone? Or was HLN's outspoken criminal-law analyst on her way out regardless?

Hey, it didn't hurt!

Nancy and partner Tristan MacManus were declared safe midway through the show, allowing them to avoid the red spotlight completely and give them a chance to relax as Demi Lovato sang her big comeback hit, "Skyscraper."

Instead, it was Elisabetta Canalis whose chance to win fizzled like her shot at marriage to George Clooney. She and first-year pro Val Chmerkovskiy were eliminated, despite landing firmly in the middle of the pack last night with a jaunty quickstep.

Well, we know who's getting the noogie at the Chmerkovskiy house this holiday season.

"It was a great adventure, so, I want to thank everybody...Thanks to the public and everybody who voted for us. Now I'm a littler nervous," Elisabetta said in her thickly accented English.

"I wish I did better for you," Val said humbly.

Either David Arquette or Chaz Bono, both of whom joined Elisabetta in the bottom three, had the second-least amount of votes (we're thinking it was David)—while one was just dragged into the bottom three for the heck of it.

"THANK YOU thank you! #DWTS We are safe! On to the next dance! You guys are my courage! And my lucky charm :) @TristanMacManus!! xx," Grace tweeted after tonight's show.

The crowd was also entertained tonight by musical guests the Script, who performed "For the First Time."

So, 10 stars remain and next week their routines will have to tell a story about the most memorable year of their lives. Chaz, David, Nancy, Rob Kardashian, J.R. Martinez, Chynna Phillips, Ricki Lake, Kristin Cavallari, Hope Solo and Carson Kressley are still in the mix!

She wasn't the worst dancer, so why do you think Elisabetta went home tonight? Share your thoughts in the comments section!
