Ashlee Simpson's love train rolls on.

Just days after the singer and her new beau Vincent Piazza made their red carpet debut at the Boardwalk Empire season two premiere party in NYC, the two jetted back to L.A. in time to get their Emmys on...

Simpson and Piazza hit BAFTA's tea party yesterday at the L'Ermitage in Beverly Hills. Arriving at about 3:30, they strolled the red carpet with their arms around each other—but photos only, please! The twosome was all smiles but skipped out on doing any interviews with the press.

Inside the rooftop bash, the couple kept to themselves in a corner talking to two pals while sipping champagne and occasionally holding each other close.

Simpson and Piazza weren't the only celebs at the tea party. Kathy Griffin, Julie Bowen, Melissa Leo, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Dot Marie Jones and Aimee Teegarden were all in attendance.

"I'm wearing Oscar de la Renta," Griffin dished to us when asked what she'll be wearing today. "I'm wearing de la Renta red. [Stylist] Robert Verdi is not f--king around anymore. He's had it. He's ao determined to get me off the worst dressed list."

Meanwhile, Leo, who's nominated for her work in Mildred Pierce, says she'll be wearing Italian designer Renato Balestra while Mad Men's Cara Buono will sport Donna Karan.

"It's a one of a kind dress, custom made," Buono said. "It's long, it's elegant and it was just fitted. It arrived this morning and I think it fits pretty well."

Also yesterday, Saturday Night Live boss Lorne Micheals held court at the SNL party at the Sunset Tower Hotel. Guests included Jimmy Fallon, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Westfeldt, Melissa McCarthy, Jack McBryer, Paul Rudd, Ana Gasteyer, Aziz Ansari, Andy Samberg, Rashida Jones, Maya Rudolph and Andy Cohen.

Hosted by 42 Below vodka and Broadway Video, the soiree had treats with names like the Schweddy Balls ice cream float, Liz Lemonade and the Saturday Night Imbibe.
