First of all, who wouldn't? Second of all, these are exactly the kind of eerie romantic prognostications that could scare off a serial playboy like George Clooney. (Not so, Tom Cruise, who made his own missus' infamous childhood dream come true!)
Back in 2008, when Stacy Keibler was fresh off shimmying her way into America's hearts on Dancing With the Stars and when George was dating a young lady by the name of Sarah Larson (remember her?), E! News caught up with the blonde beauty making the party rounds.
Curiously, the conversation eventually made its way to Stacy's thoughts on marrying one Mr. G. Clooney. So what'd she have to say?
Oh, you know. What any red-blooded Italian American female would.
When discussing some of the pitfalls of her then-newfound celebrity, the topic of rumors came up. While Keibler, who was then dating actor Geoff Stults, said she had so far remained out of the tabloid eye, there was one rumor she wouldn't mind making the rounds…
"Nothing really crazy has came up that I could actually ever play a game with," she said, mentioning that she'd only been the subject of the odd engagement rumor.
And when E! News through out a completely random (at the time) for instance for her, she jumped on it.
"Oh, I would love to be in that rumor," she said, her eyes lighting up. "If that comes out in the media that I'm engaged to George Clooney, I would run with that one, for sure."
