Speculation kicked into high gear over the weekend that there's a new celebrity power couple ready to assume the ranks after none other than Jennifer Lopez and Bradley Cooper were spotted intimately dining together—and with no other hangers-on—at New York's Per Se Saturday night.
So what's the deal? Was the meet-up strictly business, all pleasure…or both?
Exhale, ladies: the Limitless star is still, as far as we can tell, on the market. Despite his penchant for fiery Jennifers (lest we forget, he had a blink-and-you'll-miss-it marriage to Jennifer Esposito in his pre-Hangover days), E! News has learned that this particular meeting was nothing personal.
A source close to the newly-single Lopez tells E! News that she was simply in New York doing promotion for her new Kohl's collection (with ex-hubby Marc Anthony) and took full advantage of being on the East Coast, taking several meetings for various creative endeavors.
One of those meetings, the source says, was her dinner with Cooper. The duo was simply discussing a possible future film project together.
And while they're just friends—and possible colleagues—for now, they would make a pretty stunning couple, if we may say so.
