And we weren't the only ones totally suspicious of the (admittedly, way hot) coupling. But pals of Georgey confirm the canoodling, saying, "They are dating, I don't get it, but they are dating."
So why is this attractive twosome so mind boggling to peeps close to G.C.? And what does his ex-GF Elisabetta Canalis have to do with it all?
Everything, it seems. But we'll get to that in a minute.
"It just doesn't make sense, really," our source spills to us about George's latest girlfriend. "He always goes for brunettes."
And while this is (pretty much) true, George's close circle of friends seem to think there's a different reason Stacy made the cut:
"At least this one can speak English," his buddy bitches. "Though, I don't think talking is part of the deal."
Hey, if we looked as good as those two, we wouldn't spend much time chit chatting either!
So where does former girlfriend Canalis come into the picture?
"I think the breakup was messy," our George source tells us. "He was hiding out from Elisabetta when she moved her stuff from his house. In fact, I think that's the reason he's hooking up with Stacy—to protect himself from Elisabetta, who wants to be a star."
That's not the ladies' only similarity though.
Our insider reveals: "And it's weird because I think both Elisabetta and Stacy live on the same block."
That's one block party we'd love to be invited to. Catfight, anyone?
