Colleagues and friends have already spoken out and offered condolences in the wake of the shocking and tragic suicide of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Russell Armstrong.

And now Taylor Armstrong, his estranged wife and the mother of his youngest child, is breaking her silence.

"Taylor Armstrong is devastated by the tragic events that have unfolded," her rep told E! News. "She requests privacy at this time so that she may comfort her young daughter."

Taylor and Russell have a 5-year-old daughter, Kennedy, who frequently featured on the first season of the Bravo show. In addition, Armstrong is also survived by two sons, eldest Aiden and middle child Griffin, born from his first marriage and a former fiancée, respectively.

"Her thoughts and prayers are also with Russell's 11- and 13-year-old sons," Taylor's rep said.

The 47-year-old venture capitalist was found by a roommate in his Mulholland Drive home last night after taking his own life in an apparent suicide by hanging, though no formal cause of death has yet been declared. The coroner is expected to begin officially examining his body tomorrow.
