What a girl needs might be some more driving lessons.

Amanda Bynes was responsible for a minor smashup over the weekend that left the other driver with slight injuries, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The 22-year-old Hairspray actress was driving her 2008 BMW X5 in Hollywood on Saturday around 2:45 p.m. when she made a left turn in front of another car, causing the two vehicles to collide.

"It was a straight accident," Officer Ana Aguirre, spokeswoman for the LAPD, told E! News, noting neither car sustained any serious damage.

"There was no evidence of any type of crime involving any drugs or alcohol...There were no injuries to anyone."

Aguirre did say that the other driver, a lone female behind the wheel of a white Ford Mustang, complained of injuries. Officers taking the accident report did not observe any, however, and therefore classified it as "complaintive pain," meaning no treatment was necessary at the scene.

"It was one of those where she may have been feeling aches and pain but agreed to seek treatment herself," Aguirre explained.

This is not the first motoring mishap for Bynes this year.

In February, the former Nickelodeon mainstay was driving in Beverly Hills during rush hour and ended up in a chain-reaction crash with several other drivers. Luckily, there were no injuries.

Bynes recently wrapped work on the Lifetime TV drama Living Proof. Other recent credits include a voice role on Family Guy and lead roles in the modern, sorority-set Snow White tale Sydney White and the musical hit Hairspray.
