As if we weren't already disappointed that Sunday's Teen Choice Awards didn't deliver any Robsten PDA goodness like last year's swanky ceremony (which is, of course, because Kristen Stewart was absent for work).
But when it came time to pass out those shiny surfboards, we were downright flabbergasted: The Twilight flicks lost, like, every award of the night!
Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Choice Movie Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, and (say it ain't so!) Choice Movie: Liplock all went to the wizards of Harry Potter!
So what do you have to say for yourself now, Twi-hards?
Sure, Taylor Lautner picked up an award (whatever), but we expect a certain caliber of dedication from you vamp lovers. And boy were we surprised when Daniel Radliffe and Emma Watson took home the honor of best smooch.
No offense to the sexy Brits (who we also adore), but wasn't it just a few months ago that Rob and K.Stew had that category in the bag at the MTV Movie Awards?
We know the last film in the Harry Potter franchise is a pretty big deal (or the end of an era, as some of you may so-dramatically put it), so we're willing to accept that the Hogwarts award-hoggers took home Teen's equivalent to Best Picture.
But where were the Robsten fans, Krisbians, and Robaholics to vote (over and over and over again) for their fancy haired-faves as Choice Actor and Actress? Of course, Robby won Choice Vampire but who knows what would have happened if Harry Potter had featured a few fanged fellahs.
After all these years, is Harry Potter finally stealing the crown from Twilight (in terms of fan fare, because Deathly Hollows already dominated at the box office)? Or were the Twi-hards totally ashamed of the latest installment in their beloved series and let HP have the glory?
Help us figure out what happened in last night's shocking bloodsucker beat down.
